I’m Jessica, founder of Curated Spaces & Studio Smith. Before becoming an interior designer, I spent years working in hospitality — an industry where every detail matters and how a space feels is just as important as how it looks.
That background taught me the importance of flow, comfort, and the small design decisions that quietly make life easier.
When I bought my own dated Victorian home in Birmingham, I fell in love with reimagining its layout to make it work for modern living while keeping its character. Now, I help others do the same, designing homes that are beautiful, practical, and built around the way you really live.
With a background in hospitality, I’ve always known that layout is everything. It’s what supports how you live — how you cook, store things, move through your home, and unwind at the end of the day.

In the original service, clients received two bespoke layout options. With Curated Spaces 2.0, we’ve streamlined things to one carefully considered bespoke floorplan, making the process more efficient.
Everything is handled remotely, and we work with clients worldwide.
